In Early May the Propour team was asked to put the finishing touch on a pool in Beaver Bank Nova Scotia. The Client wanted an integrally coloured stamped concrete deck. Within a week our team graded, formed and poured this 1000 sq/ft deck for a satisfied client. With difficult access, Propour commissioned the help of Craig Silver of Blue rocks Concrete pumping to line pump the concrete to over 100ft to the back yard pool. See photo of freshly stamped concrete and a close up of the pattern after it had been accented with Increte’s charcoal Antiquing agent and sealed to protect the concrete and make the colour pop!
In June we were asked to do some pool deck repairs for Sparkling Pools and Spas. We ended up doing some repair work and adding roughly 400 sq/ft of pool deck. We then used a concrete stain to give the client more definitive color and sealed the entire job with a decorative sealer with a non slip additive.
Late in the season, we were asked by Ocean Contractors to prep, form and pour 1100 sq/ft of broom swept, charcoal integrally coloured concrete for a pool deck, walkway and hot tub pad in Glenn Arbour. With the help of one of Ocean’s talented crews we placed and finished the pour on a perfect day in early October.
Wilcraft Concrete Services and Propour teamed up to complete the shotcrete scope of work on a large beach entry swimming pool at the Yogi Bear Campground near Kingston Nova Scotia for Lowry Pool Services. Wilcraft provided the shotcrete pumping and nozzleman and we provided the concrete cut and finish work. As seen on Lowry Pool service’s Facebook page the pool should be ready for this spring/summers’s Camping Season!
Propour had a fun season helping out homeowners and pool contractors making dreams realities in the backyards of a few lucky homeowners and one very lucky Campground. We look forward to servicing this exciting industry in 2015.
